Sophie A. Greenberg, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a board certified dermatologist practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology in private practice in Manhattan. She is accepting new patients in her practice.

She graduated cum laude from Princeton University where she completed her premedical studies and a major in Anthropology.

She attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where she graduated with an M.D. degree and completed a yearlong research fellowship investigating a novel, natural treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer, for which she was awarded the F. Lowenfish Prize in Dermatology.

After graduating medical school, Dr. Sophie Greenberg completed a medical internship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA before returning to New York to complete Dermatology Residency at Columbia University/ New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Greenberg is an artist, with a keen visual eye that made dermatology a natural fit for both her medical and aesthetic practice. She spent a year pursuing art full time prior to enrolling in medical school and is a published medical illustrator.

She brings a holistic approach to her practice, incorporating the best of modern medicine alongside addressing internal and external factors that may be contributing to her patients’ issues, whether it’s a hormonal shift causing hair loss or recognizing that a supplement is contributing to her patient’s acne breakouts.
